In January 2018, the Foundation assisted in raising money toward the needed items for our police departments new K-9’s vehicle.

In March 2018, the Foundation supplied $200 of badly needed schoolroom supplies to the Chino Valley Head Start Program.

In May 2018, the Foundation purchased (along with an anonymous benefactor) items to outfit the new K9 car for the Chino Valley Police Dept.

In September 2018, with the money the Foundation raised along with a grant from APS, we were able to purchase and donate a New McGruff Crime Prevention Costume to the Chino Valley Police Dept.

In November 2018, the Foundation was one of the groups that sponsored National Night Out with a booth and also donated seven bicycles to be given away in free raffles. The purpose for this event is to build trust between our neighborhoods and police officers and to promote safety in our neighborhoods. During the NNO event police officers and other first responders demonstrated a variety of activities to improve awareness of crime, drug and violence prevention. Studies show that when neighborhoods have a strong sense of community and participate in crime prevention programs, they are less likely to become victims of crimes.

In December 2018, the Foundation sponsored a single Mother and her children for Christmas. We went to their home, delivered presents, and let the kids play in the Police Hummer and with the Chino Valley Police Department’s K-9.
