What is a community partnership? Well I am glad yo What is a community partnership? Well I am glad you asked; it is working together on a common goal or issue of importance to the community.

We strive to support our community, especially our law enforcement officers. So when this happened to Sergeant  Rick Lopez (R-LO)  it left a hole in the heart of our wonderful community. As we know it left a feeling of wanting to help however we all could. How do you show your love and support for someone who touched so many hearts in our community for so many years?  You help his family ! .  We are honored to announce that we were able to obtain a grant from the Safeway Foundation for Sergeant Rick Lopez's family in the amount of $15,000 !  Words can not express the gratitude we have for the Safeway Foundation.
Last Thursday we went and helped deliver the food to the family home before the celebration of his life. We were able to bless his wife and his family with such a generous donation. His wife had no clue other than knowing Safeway was helping with the food.
Thank you to all who had a part in making his wife and family feel so loved. This grant / blessing was a true community partnership. Always remember we are better together. Spread kindness wherever you can.  "Grief is love with nowhere to go"

We were up against Prescott Police Foundation and Prescott Valley Police Foundation. First, let me say what a wonderful group who gets together to help out their communities ! It truly was an amazing experience. All three presentations were given and then they voted. All together they raised $14,000. We won $10,000 ! And each other foundation received $2,000 each. We are so thankful for the opportunity and to be honest we are all still in shock. It is so rewarding to see past 5 years of projects in photo form and know you are making a difference 💙🚔🚔
